This week’s sweet treats: 11/04/2014

Josie's Wine.Coffee.Deli, carrot cake, Bishop's Waltham, Southsea Coffee Co., Southsea, puffed rice, breakfast pot, salted caramel pecan brownie, Sumatra coffee, Asda, Easter bunny, Easter crumpet, bunny crumpet, crumpet, Cadbury's, Lu, Ritz, Sweet Freedom, Choc Shot, hot chocolate, What better way to start your Friday than with our weekly round-up of some of the many sweet treats we’ve eaten this week. Here’s five of our favourites! Clockwise from top left:
1. This was delicious! Breakfast Pot which included berries, crisped rice, nuts, seeds, honey and Greek yoghurt from Southsea Coffee Co. I also enjoyed a lovely Sumatra coffee whilst reading my book. I just love the atmosphere in there and the friendly staff.

2. A lovely fresh and moist carrot cake from Josie’s Wine.Coffee.Deli at Bishops Waltham which we reviewed this week. We also had a very nice full English breakfast there at the weekend.

3. Crumpets! Easter bunny crumpets from Asda in fact. Same as normal crumpets but a fun shape instead of the usual boring round ones.

4. These are new from Cadburys, a Lu biscuit covered in Cadburys milk chocolate. A Ritz one is also available which most people seem to prefer and which I’ve yet to try. But no doubt it won’t be too long until I do!

5. This was a bowl of fresh fruit with a dollop or two of crème fraîs and drizzled with Sweet Freedom’s Choc Shot which is very versatile. Not only can it be used as a hot chocolate drink but also in numerous recipes. Read our review of Choc Shot which we published at the beginning of the week.
